Haunted House, Alvaston #1  Orbs

The following 6 Photo's were taken at a house in Alvaston, Derby. The tennents were forced to leave the house due to a number of ghosts that dwell within the property. In this picture you can clearly see a large orb by the door!

Haunted House, Alvaston #2Orbs

At the top of the photo you can see another large orb!

Haunted House, Alvaston #3Moving Orb

This is a very interesting picture because the orb appears to not only be moving but producing its own light. Apparently most of the activity occured around the young boy in the picture!

Haunted House, Alvaston #4Multi-Orbs

It's possible that this photo is a result of a dirty lense, however both picture and orbs are blurred. If it was a dirty lense then the specs shouldn't be blurred, so ghostly orbs cannot be ruled out!

Haunted House, Alvaston #5Orb

Again the orb in this picture is closer to the children than anyone else!

Haunted House, Alvaston #6 Multi-Orbs

A few orbs surround the 2 1/2 year old!

Haunted House, Alvaston #7Face Orb

In this picture you can an orb floating above the pillow in the corner of the room. This orb becomes more interesting when you zoom in on it. See the image below.

Haunted House, Alvaston #8Face Orb

This is the close up or the orb in Haunted House, Alvaston #7(click to make it larger). This image has been brightened to see a face within the orb. Could this be the little girl who drowned at Alvaston Park? The medium who examined the says this is where she lives!

St. Peter's Church #1Face orb

These two photo's were taken at St. Peter's Church in Littleover, Derby. About ten photo's were taken but only two revealed anything strange. This first one is probably the best one. On the far right of the picture you can clearly see a very bright orb. Look closely to make out a face within the orb!

St. Peter's Church #2Multi-Orbs

This picture has different orbs. The first in on the right in the upper of the image. The second is hovering above the wooden seating almost centre of the photo. And the final one is actually a cluster of orbs. You can see this at the end of the isle and slightly to the right!

Haunted House, Littleover #1Orb

The following 3 pictures were taken at my own home. For over twenty years strange things have happened. Most of the activity happens on the stairs. When anybody walks up them they always feel the need to look behind them. This picture comes in two parts. In the centre of the stairs you can see an orb (if you can't see it, adjust the brightness on your monitor). See the next picture for part two!

Haunted House, Littleover #2Orb

This picture was taken about 2 seconds after the first one from the same spot. What is so significant is the fact that the orb has moved to the right! It can now be seen right by the banister!

Haunted House, Littleover #3Large Orb

Again this was taken on the stairs. Look at the top of the picture to see the huge orb above the book case!

White Swan, Littleover #1Orb

The White Swan is a public house in Littleover, Derby thats over 300 years old. Many people have seen many things happen in this pub. We did a small investigation to see if there was anything there this is what we came up with. In this picture see the orb floating above the seating area!

White Swan, Littleover #2Multi-orbs

This picture has a couple of strange things. First of all notice break in the curtains. There apears to be a light source on the glass. This could be the reflection of the flash. However, other photos reveal that the curtains were completly closed and no-one had been near them! Plus if you look in the top right corner of the picture you can see a couple of orbs!

White Swan, Littleover #3Orb

This was one of the first pictures taken. You can see a small orb on the centre of the door that when compared to the flash reflection on the right of the picture, there a no similarities!

White Swan, Littleover #4Large Orb

Look closely to see an orb between the two pictures on the wall by the curtains!

White Swan, Littleover #5Figure/Face

This is possibly the best ghost picture I have ever taken. Look in the background to see the camera man. If you look infront of his face you'll notice the image of an old bearded mans head and shoulders (if you cannot see this, adjust the brightness on your monitor)!

The Olde Bell Inn, Derby #1Orb

The Olde Bell is possibly the most haunted public house in Derby. Infact, the Living TV Most Haunted crew have been there performing a televised investigation with Evette Fielding and Derek Achorah. In this picture you can make out an orb floating above and just to the right of the juke box!

The Blue Dog, Derby #1Multi-Orbs

The Blue Dog is a bar very popular with students and is on the same strip as the Olde Bell. This pub is also renowned for it's haunting. The staff there told us that the cellar was the most haunted area but our cameras picked up nothing down there. However, there was one area of seating that was especially interesting to us. The area (pictured above seemed to have a cold eerie feeling about it. In this picture you can see a number of orbs!

The Blue Dog, Derby #2Orb

This is the same area from a different angle. This time a single orb is captured.

The Blue Dog, Derby #3Orb

Again just a single orb captured in the same area.

The Blue Dog, Derby#4Orb

The orbs seen to be fading.

The Blue Dog, Derby #5Orb

This was the only other orb we caught on camera in a different area!

The Olde Dolphin, Derby #1Orb

This the Olde Dolphin...another pub known for it's hauntings. In here we took quite a few pictures, but the only one to come up trumps was this one. A small orb is seen to the right of the clock!

Derby Gaol #1Multi-Orbs

This is Derby Gaol. This is a place associated with crime, evil, pain, suffering and death! Owned by most haunted's very own Richard Felix, the old gaol is the starter point of the great Derby Ghost Walk! With so many people dying here it had to be haunted. The above picture was the first picture we took and without disappointment. You can clearly see a number of orbs. This is one of the two cell that still remain here and except one orb (see Derby Gaol #4), this is the only place anything was captured!

Derby Gaol #2Multi-orbs

Again, in the same cell a number of orb can be seen!

Derby Gaol #3Door Signed By Prisoners

These are the scapings of the inmates on the inside of the door, made before they were to be executed!

Derby Gaol #4Orb

This is the only orb captured on camera outside of cell one. It can be seen to the right of the guy's head wearing the white hat!

Derby Gaol #5Short Drop, Quick Stop

This is the platform of which people were hanged!

Derby Gaol #6Mysterious Engraved Slab

This slab can be found at the bottom of the steps of the gaol Friar Gate side. The slab had hard to make out carvings in it and when stepped on, the underneath sounds hollow! Could this be this missing gaol tunnel?

Derby Gaol #7Orb

This was also taken in cell one. A single orb is at the top of the cell!

The Greyhound, Derby #1Dead Mans Seat

The Greyhound on Ashboune Road, Derby is home to a cursed seat that was named and plaqued 'Dead Mans Seat'! This is the seat where the prisoners would have their final drink before being taken away to be executed. They would sup up and be load on to the cart and taken away, hence the saying, 'on the wagon'. The curse of this seat says that if anyone named Jim sits here, they will almost certainly die! So for 3 Jims have met their fate after sitting here!

The Greyhound, Derby #2Orb

This is in the rafters of The Greyhound where many of the staff there fear to go. Everytime we asked anybody about a haunted, they nearly always said, "Have you tried the Greyhound?" Everybody Knows it is haunted. We soon found out for our selves. Here you can see a single orb at the top of the picture.

The Greyhound, Derby #3Last Drink Signiture

This is quite hard to see in the full size picture but still it's quite amazing. The signatures of the prisiners scratched into to glass. This would have been their last signing. On closer inspection this signature was left by someone called James Clarke!

The Greyhound, Derby #4Orb

This is the only orb we caught in the public area. It can be seen almost centre of the picture.

The Greyhound, Derby #5Multi-orbs

This is one of the eerie rooms upstairs in the pub. A couple of orbs come to greet us. Look closely to see 3 faint orbs.

The Greyhound, Derby #6Multi-Orbs

Even more orbs coming to greet us, this time brighter. You Can see around 15+ orbs!

The Greyhound, Derby #7Multi-Orbs

These orbs were seen in the other room upstairs of the pub. But these orbs just seem different. The series of pictures show that the orbs seem to collect together to show itself as manifestatuion stage 2. See The Greyhound #10 to see more!

The Greyhound,Derby #8Multi-Orbs

Again, here are a selction of orbs captured in the same room.

The Greyhound, Derby #9Multi-orbs

And again....

The Greyhound,Derby #10Multi-Orbs

This one is a little more interesting because the orbs seem to collect together to evolve into manifestation stage 2. If you look closely, you can see strange, whisty, smoke-like bonds appearing between the orbs. Although we see alot of orbs there, we strongly believe the there are no more than 3 spirits here!

The Jorrocks, Derby #1The Skull

This is The Jorrocks. In the 90's they had the cellar deepened. When they were digging they came across the bones of a young woman who was almost certainly murdered about 300 years ago. Since the bones were found strange things started to happen. Glasses ramdomly smashing, objects moving, voices clearly heard without anyone being there and on the odd occasion the image of a young girl can be seen. This is another place that the 'Most Haunted' crew have ventured. The skull of the young girl is now resting on the back of the bar to be veiwed by the public. If the skull is taken outside you will probably hear the screams of the condemned girl.

The Jorrocks, Derby #2Orb

This is the only orb we picked up. It's quite faint but if you look closely you can see it.

The Jorrocks, Derby #3Landlady Holding The Skull

This is Dawn, the land-lady of The Jorrocks holding the skull of the girl!

Varsity, DerbyOrbs

These orbs were caught by accident, we weren't looking for anything at this point, but above our very own Lee 'The Sceptic's' head, you can clearly see a few orbs! This was taken at varsity, Derby.

Vernon Gate, Derby #1The Old Prison And Hang Court

This is vernon Gate...a remarkable building where thousands of people had their sentance of death carried out. Here, people were executed for various different things from extreme things like Murder, to very minor things like swearing. Unfortunatly, Vernon Gate Prison was recently renovated, destroying the execution pits, hangmans tunnel, access to the towers and the many, many years of great history that dwell within the wall. However, not everything was lost. Take a look at what look like the windows either side of the main door and note the width of the road. Now see Vernon Gate #2.

Vernon Gate, Derby #2The Public Hanging Door

These were not windows. The road was so wide to let the public stand outside of the amazing building while the veiw the public hanging. Above these public hanging windows were platforms where the prisoner would stand before being dropped through the trap door with a noose around thier neck. They would fall into veiw of the public where the people would either shout abuse, cheer or cry for the hanging prisoner.
